Roomingfree77 244
he has to buy a wall even out of his own pocket cuz that pitch alone was enough to shut out the side and get all them ignorant voters who swear by beer, nascar and pro wrestling to vote trump and that swing apparently was a larger demographic then Hillary observed

How much private property will the government have to illegally acquisition? How many native American burial grounds and reservations will they be paving over/driving heavy machinery through? I remember hearing an Indian man's story about seeing his family members bones in the treads of bulldozer tires when they built the fence. Can we expect that but on a larger and more offensive scale? How far inward will the wall have to be built? You can't build anything that blocks the flow of the Rio Grande, that includes the existing border fence. At the moment, there are parts of the U.S. that are cut off from the rest of the country, stuck between the fence and the river/actual border. Won't this just aggravate this issue? Or will Texas and the other border states allow them to break the laws like they did when they built the fence? How many endangered species will be affected? When the fence was built, there were a number of species threatened by its construction. What will be the contingency plan if (when) people use ladders or tunnels to go over/under then wall? How about when people move drugs over/under the wall the same way they move them over/under the fence? Lastly, who's going to pay for this ridiculous f*cking thing? An estimated 50-75 billion dollars for its construction and double that by the time Pence leaves office in 2020 for maintenance. Who's footing the bill? It's definitely not going to be Mexico, that's for sure. Trump is not intelligent enough to read this......he is just a stupid white(orange) man that knows nothing.....only thing he knows is money...... If i had money i would buy that wall just so i can throw it on him and his whole family......because we don't need more trumps in ths world I've got an "F" and a "C" and I got a "K" too And the only thing that is missing is a bitch like "U"

I hope illegals keep coming even after this wall is built so American tax payers who support this feel the pain. Quote me, idgaf. Actually net immigration from Mexico has been less than zero for several years now (more people leave than come in), and the overwhelming majority of incoming illegal immigrants are people that came here legally and overstayed their work or student visa, or do things that violate their visa (like his beloved illegal immigrant wife Melania, who worked here illegally on a strictly work prohibiting visa). So the wall will literally do nothing to stop the illegal immigration "problem" (even though illegal immigrants contribute more toward the economy than they take and have lower crime rates than the general population), but since his supporters obviously don't know any of the actual facts about illegal immigration or they wouldn't care about it, he can freely waste all of our money and just tell them it went down and they'll be happy. There's really no winning against the perfect combo of lits and ignorance. Sad day for the USA.

Also, I usually see that south Texas and the areas of States that border Mexico tend to be more Democrat based. So I can see why it's a problem to the GOP. They're afraid of losing ground. I don't think we'd see a problem if undocumented immigrants weren't treated poorly by conservatives or if immigrants largely voted Republican... It's all a matter of strategic politics. Can't wait for the next presidential debate when the moderator asks him "So when is Mexico going to pay us back for that wall?" Then he uses double speak to say the trade deficit will pay us back. Taxing products from Mexico will pay us back. But when the prices go up the only people paying the bill is the American people. The wall does seem more like a meme than a real thing but atleast he's following through on his word and taking care that issue.

I didn't find stats on how exactly they come, but here's a page with some facts about the illegal immigrant population in general, and how it's basically stagnant now. http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2016/11/03/5-facts-about-illegal-immigration-in-the-u-s/ Mexican immigrants are going back home, and new ones are coming from other countries like China, but the overall population is not increasing.
