Why will I respect Britney forever?

She's the cutest pop star and even though I don't like her music, I respect and consider Britney an icon.

There's not even one song from her that you like?

I have only listened to her hits and they're catchy but not something I'd listen to repeatedly.

She probably has some hidden gems but I don't know where to start.

There's one problem... thats her voice:awkney: Its sadly lacking:awkney:

that has nothing to do or even a good reason as to why you would loose any respect for the woman it's kind of like you are being an A-Hole yourself there wat you think?.. :)

The voice has got everything to do with it! What's the point of supporting an artist that cant sing? One of the reasons I fell in love with Gaga is because she can sing like nobody else. I respect artists that can sing amazingly well like Gaga, Jenifer Hudson, Alisha Keys ect.

I respect her for staying in the game, but (and I understand why) I don't like how her own personal game has fallen a lot. It's understandable because **** this bitch has really been through it, but still.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

I love how unapologetic she is about what she does. She lips to original track instead of fooling you with pre-recorded vocals like so many others are doing. She barely has any writing credits and has no clue what the songs are about, but she never claims to be anything she's not. Sometimes entertainment is just that. No rocket science, no politics or symbolism. Just plain fun. That doesn't make her a lesser artist than others, just simply a different one:)

Are you more into ballads or upbeat pop songs? I'd suggest you to listen to Unusual You, Alien & Invitation.

I like all kinds of music. From the songs you listed Alien is the best one, I like the chorus when she says "not alone, not alone". But ultimately, her voice isn't cutting it for me:sweat:

I totally get it, I have an history of mispronouncing words 'cause my brains thinks faster than my mouth. I haven't thought about that. Thanks for clarifying!

Same! I do that all the time even when I'm talking to my friends or my bf! I always mix up the letters and stuff!

*she switched baristas. ☕️
