There are people here legally with all different ethnic backgrounds including Mexicans. They aren't the people he is taking about. lol. first of all, that is an elementary definition of racism. if that were true, reverse racism would be a real thing. second, he's saying people coming in illegally from mexico are bringing all of these bad things (when they're overwhelmingly not, there's data on it?) so i don't see your train of thought. Except the demographic he was appealing to can't be bothered to differentiate between different Latin nationalities or whether or not they have legal status in the United States. The people who voted for him see brown skin and hear Spanish and immediately categorize them as "illegal aliens," because they have succumbed to his racist rhetoric. And he KNOWS that. He's playing on people's ignorance and intolerance. He knows that his supporters will generalize and spew hate regardless of whether or not their victims accurately fit the description he's talking about. Okay so its not factually racist you just think it is. Thats not proof or a fact. You also think all the people who voted for him think that? Thats also trying stereotyping a large group of people which is what your arguing against (him categorizing them, etc). A lot of people voted for trump because of different reasons besides social issues and different people have different needs in the country. That doesn't make them bad people.. Exactly, theres gonna be a witchhunt and every single latin person will have to walk around with their VISA/green card stuck to their forehead if they dont want to be bothered. Let him keep going, and the fire lit under people's asses will be so great, they will have no choice but to go out and taken action against ignorance, because it will be a part of their everyday lives.
