I feel as though government officials have every right to express their discontent as well, but that's just my opinion, which differs from hers and yours, I'm assuming. Anyway, I don't like what she had to say about "picking sides" and how people treat politics similarly to how they treat sports. She herself has seemingly picked a side by deciding to speak so negatively of "the left" because of, among a few other things, death threats received by Jennifer Holliday. Why assume that people don't know what is happening? The fact that people are speaking up and protesting (not extremism) should be a reason for you to stand with them, not tear them down.
