I asked why everybody was 'butt hurt' that the wall has been suggested i.e. upset, annoyed, angry as it is simply an immigration control mechanism. I don't think it is stupid actually. It's partly unnecessary, expensive and will require a lot of resources, but it's definitely not stupid. Castles are built with large walls to prevent people infiltrating them, it's the same principle. Also, deporting illegal immigrants isn't the same as thwarting their entrance. Yes, deporting illegal immigrants isn't the same as thwarting their entrance but it has the same or similar results. Every country faces this problem but building a wall is not the solution. Thwarting entrance is preventing an increase in illegal immigrants, deporting them is only reducing the number of illegal immigrants residing.
