There is nothing wrong with protesters reminding the establishment that the majority of voters didn't vote for Trump, nothing wrong with them standing up to a man who is attacking news organisations, nothing wrong with them standing up against an empowered neo-nazi 'alt right'. For the record, there would have been nothing wrong with people taking to the streets if Hillary had won. I don't understand how anybody can be against protests, people should be as politically active as possible, they should continuously express their discontent with the status quo, they should constantly put pressure on those in power to obey the will of the people, they should constantly make their voices heard. Protesting shouldn't be something people shake their fingers at, it's a sign of a well functioning democracy and free society - It's those that don't want you to protest, those that demonise protesters as trouble makers that you should be wary of.
