She needs to do well. The Superbowl can have a lot of influence in how people view artists, make a mistake and you'll never get live it down. She doesn't benefit from going against the NFL. Plus, they are very meticulous with rehearsals. You can't pop out in an outfit they haven't seen or say something they didn't approve. This isn't a game for her to be controversial just cuz she wants to, no matter how important the topic is. She needs this exposure and it could ruin her if it goes wrong. Morphine Prince 105,659
Who said no? This is a case for the FBI. At least political controversy won't happen. Hoping for Beyonce, it's too perfect. Haters seethe.

Sizzily 14,543
Ugh, the way the fawn over Beyonce. Glad they don't want a politically charged show, this is about bringing people together, not putting them at odds. Tears in the rain

But those are some of the most exciting choices I don´t want to see her perform with anyone that could be considered a friend or family (in Elton's) of hers. LastNight 5,935
Gaga has a great reputation and the Super Bowl is an amazing opportunity for any performer so I imagine that any guests who declined probably did so because of scheduling conflicts. I can't imagine her reaching out to people in the first place who she knows don't like her.

JGD 12,018
I know there are a lot of NFL fans that wanted a rock band to do the halftime show. Would be amazing if her guest is a rock band, but it seems like they're turning her down
