Not all of them. And about the halftime show, NFL literally admited multiple times on vraious platforms. There are many MTV ,VH1, ABC, FORBES etc. articles confirming this I found online. Just search for it. NFL does not want to risk their show being botched by bad sound. I am not saying all of it is 10000% pre-recorded but most of it is. I remember I once read an interview with Super Bowl music audio supervisor (forgot his name but look it up.) He said that a lot of artists want to do everything live but It would literally take an hour to set up every instrument to make sure everything was perfect but they have 2 minutes so it is literally impossible. And if the singers want to sing live, they have an echo problem so they usually don't sing live and use pre-recorded vocals 50% of the time they are performing. Many past performers also talked about this including Red Hot Chilli Peppers. They are like Gaga, always like to sing live on their shows but the NFL only let 1 member out of 4 do it live because it was to risky to let them all be live. No matter what she does, she can't get extra minutes, because all the minutes not already dedicated to the show have been *sold* as the most expensive advertising slots on US televison. Some people tune in to the show just for the commercials. She could perform for the people in the Stadium while the viewers at home watch commercials of cause. 2. Microphones can be set up and adjusted days in advance, as long as they put everything exactly where they rehearsed it. And a football field has nice lines to guide them to their spots (e.g. "Set piece G9 goes 1' from the 20 yard line in the middle of the painted 0" etc.). 3. At her Christmas tree turn on performance at the Rockefeller center in NY (C2C era), the deal was that she turned up the day before to record a CD of replacement vocals in case she lost her voice on the day. She didn't loose her voice and the recording wasn't used. Same thing can be done for the Superbowl. 4. The picture of the retractable roof shows that it already has a standing space on girders below it. So she can simply do a part of her show standing on those (or a simple platform for more dancing space). There are probably camera crews for the football game and halftime show already up on those girders, so adding one tiny woman with professional Theatre training from Tisch would not be much of a problem. 5. Getting up or down could use any of the wire theatrics she has done in past performances. Like when she was hung above the MTV stage with fake blood on her dress, or like the zipline entrance in Central Park already posted in this thread. Or she could use the techniques already used by Katy Perry, Black Eyed Pees etc. at earlier SB halftime shows. 6. Dress rehearsal for something like this can be camouflaged as her visiting her team while they are rigging lights etc. for the performance. Anyone not in the closed stadium would be unable to know if she did any high altitude rehearsals or it was only the stage riggers having roof access. 7. Initial rehearsal for acts like that are usually done like 1 or 2 feet above the floor anyway, so she could do that in the tent. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
