No sea shell bikinis falling off. No struggling to stand on a floating platform. No falling off a piano chair. No getting her hair stuck in a zip wire. It would overshadow the whole performance. I still don't think so NFL doesn't give artists THAT much freedom. Pre-recorded vocals are part of the contact they sign, they wouldn't even let Beyonce perform live. It's just too risky. Imagine If her voice suddenly breaks at one point or something bad happens..it can happen nobody is perfect. It could potentionally RUIN her career because it's the Superbowl. (look at Janet) NFL wants everything to go extra smooth and avoid any potentional risk. They want everything to pe PERFECT. They won't even let most of artist perform National Anthem live (they addmited even Whitney used pre-recorded vocals). I also read and article when they said that singing live is very difficult because with the sound delay inside the stadium and all the echo and the sound bouncing off the walls, you can't discern pitch and you can't tell when you started and where you ended.
