I have no issue with Gaga releasing country music, I have an issue with her releasing bad country music. She has the name recognition and enough clout in the industry to collaborate with anyone, and she is choosing them? Call Jack White and have him produce a cute country EP for you. Call Natalie Mains and release some angry little anti-Trump record. Ask Elton to hook you up with a song writing session with Brandi Carlile. Dolly's been trying to put on her dancin' wig for a while now, why not collaborate with her? Gaga's collaboration with the walking dead has proven successful, so why not reach out to Wanda Jackson or Loretta Lynn? I just don't understand this corny country drag thing she is doing. She can absolutely do what she likes but this album is clearly not to a lot of people's taste as we can see with its performance. And the flop singles. She needs those GP dollars if she wants to have a long career and remain somewhat relevant. She can't ride the wave of her first 3 albums forever. This album was a risk that didn't pay off so back to pop next please. At the end of the day we all want the person we stan for to be popular and at the top. sales=more albums=big shows=long career.
