All the major, and smaller, news organizations have had this information and have confirmed that it came from the US Intelligence Agencies. The information hasn't been verified but the people who found this information have been deemed reliable. CNN can't be sued. They didn't share the two page dossier, just the information that it was out there and what the main suspicion and allegation were contained in that two pages. Breitbart and other actual FAKE News did publish stuff like Pizzagate and other nonsense stories. Fake News helped Trump in a way or another. The document was not written by the Intelligence agencies. This is a report on an official dossier that's been known to the highest ranking officials in our intelligence community as well as the Senate and the White House. This is exactly the sort of thing that journalists should report. Unlike the racist birther conspiracy which had zero official backing by the government or our intelligence communities, that was started in the media by Trump and repeated by right wing media for years.
