You're right. Elitism is a huge problem. I also want to add that even though I fundamentally disagree with you on several points, I actually admire your passion for Trump's presidency, and you've made some pretty thoughtful arguments on here before. (And no, I'm not being patronizing when I say that. I'm being quite sincere.) But trying to shame outspoken entertainers as "out of touch elites" has been used as a political strategy for years now and is completely hypocritical when used in defense of Trump, considering that much of his fame was derived from his participation in the entertainment industry, and he literally lives in a gilded tower in New York City.
