GGD, how EXACTLY is Britney a manufactured pop star?

I think she is just passive at this point.. The manager + the record company tells her what to do and she does it

She is an entertaining performer (or she used to be) but I think she reached a point where the less she does the better for her. And if she's ok with I guess her stans should too

She is to an extent but she used to be very vocal about things. The BOMT thing was her idea. The original video was supposed to be a Power Ranger animated thing. 

Wasn't she also behind her infamous RS cover as well?

She also began showing more promise during ITZ and pre/Blackout era where she was beginning to defy her label by airing music that exposed people and was rejecting the image she had been doing prior. She also took a larger part in writing and composing music as mentioned by a lot of people during this time period. She wrote poems and short pieces that became lyrics for her demos and future album tracks, unfortunately a lot of her stuff that has made it isn't the best aside from a few and been replaced with other people's work.

After her breakdown, it seemed she either one couldn't exert control over her work anymore and with the conservatorship, she had things already decided by her. Just last year she said in a cut interview, "People would bring [her] things already finished." It may have just been her brand trying to cash in on trends rather than allowing her to venture into exploring her artistic journey. She did state Glory she's had more control over her work since ITZ/BO so it's a sign she's clearly invested in going forward. I do believe a lot's held her back and many of her proposed works/ideas may have been rejected by her label and with the breakdown, her heart (her behavior, lack of interest and overall body language) shows she wasn't here for Circus/FF/BJ.
