JusKeepBreathin 19,311
People here acting like Joanne is going to draw in huge numbers. Joanne album is even more somber than ANTI. Guest
lmao, this is incomplete as can be...probably without a lot of european dates... she had 11 million from 4 european dates and I don't even like Rih

Shuts them up real quick. Especially considering how many hits Rih had this era. Flyin' like a 1000 Doves
Haroon 49,685
It was a great show and she seemed so happy and personable but the production was really lacking Coupled with the fact that she was performing in stadiums didn't help I still think it should've been more of an arena tour because then it could've filled out the venue more and had things more concentrated on stage and looked more entertaining Overall had an amazing time regardless though, her vocals were better than ever and she's got an amazing discography behind her that she can perform, to the point where many amazing songs have to be left out
skaxboy 5,603
I think dollar amount doesn't matter as much as overall seats sold. As long as her shows were filled and she put on a good show who cares about tour gross. I've only seen Rihanna once for the Last Girl on Earth tour. I wanted to go to this tour but was broke at the time. Now I'm just waiting for those Joanne Ball tickets.
GagaMyBlood95 9,915
I'm sorry, but based on people's reviews and youtube videos, the tour was tragic imo.. Low production, a couple of good moments but overall pretty stale and boring.. Rihanna seemed uninterested too tbh
Supersonic 49,376
Well, that's pretty low considering the almost the entirety of her Europe tour was in stadiums. Where the ticket prices low or did people just not come?

She didn't seem to be invested at all and it appears in most the setlist. 64M is huge considering the effort put into it and that's not a good thing "I have been writing LG5 since I was 13"

River 117,349
After so many times that she gave a big s-it to her fans on her live shows (was late, sang half song or just danced, was drunk and high), people had enough of it.. she really ruined it for herself.. and gave herself a bad reputation as a live act.. So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy
Thrasher 22,980
Tell me what you want but those number aren't good. She also played a lot of stadiums here in Europe. At least I'm happy because with her half-empty shows etc. has paved the way for everyone in the future “Come over, when you’re sober”

I'd like to see them make 64 million in a year. this is gross, bot net. she isn't going home with 64 million since this has to pay the crew, dancers, promo, moving, etc.
StrawberryBlond 14,881
That was lower than I thought. I know she didn't sell out by any means but this is pretty shocking. I never thought Gaga would actually out-earn her with arenas. Whoever thought that stadiums was the best idea for her made a huge mistake, especially in the current touring climate. The way things went, she'll be selling even lower next time. From what I heard from audience members, she really wasn't trying and the whole set was boring, alongside her usual problem of turning up late. But it's not like this is new - look up one star reviews of her Diamonds tour on ticketmaster. She's done this too many times now. Her fans have had enough. With the likes of Adele pulling in big money through sheer vocals and Beyonce raking it in through the overall entertainment package, Rihanna's really going to have to pull her socks up if she wants to make any kind of money from future tours. Concert goers have high standards these days. Tickets are too expensive to waste on acts who don't try. 2 hours ago, Bloody said: That's around 900k per date, so I don't call this a flop at all. They are good numbers but neither impressive like Bey's and Adele's. If it had more than 100 dates it would be around 100m. dollars. It couldn't have been 100 dates because she didn't have the demand for that many. She's never been big in Asia or Latin America and she did Africa last time, so she couldn't go back 2 tours in a row. And just like a lot of singers, she couldn't go to Oceania twice either. So, her limit was North America and Europe and the demand was what it was. She didn't keep her fans wanting or anything. The tickets just didn't sell out. 1 hour ago, AlotofApollo said: Well lets not be toffee-nosed here. We haven't seen Gagas next Tour yet No one's saying that's going to be a huge money spinner either. We're being realistic about it. All we're comparing it to is Gaga's last tour which was deemed a downgrade and a flop to prove that it didn't do as badly as we thought. Plus, Rihanna's been selling tickets on the strength of a big hit lead single (Work), the previous singles that got cancelled as well as her collabs with Calvin (This Is What You Came For) and Drake (Too Good). She also did that Sledgehammer song. So, even amidst all these opportunities to sell tickets, she couldn't. Gaga, with a lesser successful single run and no features, pulled in more money. 1 hour ago, Supersonic said: Well, that's pretty low considering the almost the entirety of her Europe tour was in stadiums. Where the ticket prices low or did people just not come? People just didn't come. Even in the UK, where she's always had a huge fanbase, all the dates were half empty and 2 of them had to be cancelled despite being in areas where she'd normally have a huge following. The ones who'd already bought tickets were offered the chance to exchange them for tickets to the other dates which proves that there were still many going begging. And I heard some people in the US claim that everyday, there was competitions on the radio giving away tickets and that they were being touted for $10.
