Feel free to add people you think might make it to the stage, and why/for which song ! LIKELY Elton John Why it's possible : Close friend, piano partner, collaborated many times in the past. They could do a mashup of one of his piano songs with Million Reasons or The Edge of Glory, or he could be just here playing the piano and supporting her during MR or TEOG. Why it might not happen : Not available/not willing to perform Tony Bennett Why it's possible : Official jazz partner, jazz legend, could be here for any jazz song from the C2C era, or a duet on Million Reasons. Why it might not happen : Well, he has a certain age, he might not feel like performing, or he might not feel fitting in this kind of show. Mark Ronson, Kevin Parker/Tame Impala/Bloodpop/Hillary Lindsey/Father John Misty/Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age) Why it's possible : Mark Ronson produced Joanne, Kevin produced Perfect Illusion, they could recreate the PI music video and be with her like Mark did at the beginning of the era. Others all were part of the Joanne process, and might find a spot on stage. Why it might not happen : Mark played the Superbowl last year with Bruno, Coldplay and Beyoncé. Kevin and Tame Impala are not famous enough (but maybe that's not a problem). FJM isn't very known in the US either. Josh Homme could be here to play the guitar (even if it's not for the songs he worked on for Joanne). Nile Rodgers Why it's possible : He's an established music act, she could do I Want Your Love or Le Freak with him, or he could just make a cameo like Lenny Kravitz did with Katy. Why it might not happen : Since he's not that much of a vocalist or a stage beast (unlike Missy Eliott), he might be just stuck here playing (or pretending to play), he might not want to come just for this. Sting Why it's possible : Long time friend (they performed together quite many times), they could do the same for the SB with a cover of one of his songs, or he could be playing the guitar for one of Gaga's songs (Bad Romance for example). Why it might not happen : Not available (he has a show on that night). He might push it back for the SB, but still. Kiss Why it's possible : Long time friends, very supportive of her. She could do a cover of I Was Made For Loving You. They could also play for her. Why it might not happen : Not available, not willing to come, not chosen by Gaga and her team. Paul McCartney Same thing than Kiss and Sting. U2 Same Queen/Adam Lambert Why it's possible : Long time friends again, to perform a You and I / We Will Rock You mashup Why it might not happen : Same reason than Kiss, Paul McCartney and Sting Gaga's friends (Semi Precious Weapons, Lady Starlight, etc ...) Why it's possible : Cause she often brings her friends on stage for numerous reasons Why it might not happen : NFL stopping her. UNLIKELY Beyoncé Why it's possible : First ever live performance of Telephone Why it might not happen : 3rd performance at the Superbowl for her, she wouldn't come just for a duet where she wouldn't be the main star on stage. Cher Why it's possible : For a surprise duet of Bang Bang, or a Born This Way/Believe surprise. Why it might not happen : Cher not willing to come, not in shape or not feeling it. Maybe they're in bad terms since The Greatest (?). Kesha Why it's possible : They both love each other and have been supportive of each other since last year. Gaga could be generous to offer a spot on the SB stage to perform Tik Tok or one of her songs with her to help her get back on track. Why it might not happen : Unwanted controversy (Dr Luke case), Kesha not feeling it, or just not allowed to legally Madonna Why it's possible : Their relationship has been getting better lately. Maybe if they both wanted to create an historic pop moment, a Born This Way / Express Yourself mashup would draw a lot of attention for them, that might be a win/win situation. Why it might not happen : Gaga wouldn't. Madonna would (or not ?). Unwanted controversy. Madonna already played the Superbowl and wouldn't come for a guest spot. Florence + The Machine Why it's possible : Hey Girl or Born This Way duet (or a cover of a FTM song). Why it might not happen : Florence not available, not willing to come, or not famous enough for the American audience (?). RuPaul (and the drag race queens) Why it's possible : Cause Born This Way Why it might not happen : Potential controversy (from conservative american). Christina Aguilera/R Kelly Why it's possible : Do What U Want live Why it might not happen : NFL not wanting Christina after her National Anthem fiasco. R Kelly for his legal problems we all know about. DWUW is very unlikely to be performed (not a huge success of Gaga). Too sexual and controversial. Zedd/DJ White Shadow/Madeon/RedOne ... Why it's possible : All her former producers, she had a great relationship with most of them, and any of them could be here to play for her. Why it might not happen : Even if some of them make it to stage (even if it's unlikely), I doubt they'd be considered as true "guests" compared to usual guests (Destiny's Child, Lenny Kravitz, ...), but more like little support acts (LMFAO, MIA, ...).
