PopThatArt 2,193
"Divided" would have been more suitable with that cover, but Im not a fan of his music, I find it rather tacky, so I don't care. And that is poor use of math symbols, rather juvenile and amateur, I would have picked the limit symbol, but we all can't be versed in Calculus. Spoiler His music will be discontinuous. It doesn't exist in my world. Go see A Star is Born

But still, I find it boring sry It was a rumored/fan title at one time. I can't remember if it was before or after BTW.

Ed is a singer/songwriter....we pretty much know what to expect. There is a demand for that type of music, just like the demand for other popular music. There's nothing wrong with re-invention. It's not just a pop-girl trait. There might be a demand for his kind of music, and I definitely think he should mostly stick to his guitar, but when it's almost exactly the same every time, that gets boring and could be seen as lazy/unoriginal

To fans or listeners of some artists, no. Like I said originally, much depends on the fan base, genre and demand. Not every artist is about change and reinvention...and that's just fine with some artists. Ed's music wasn't "exactly the same" anyhow, so it's all good, I guess. Tbf, I won't deny that Ed Sheeran did change slightly with his second album, because it was definitely groovier in places but the album tracks them selves were very samey and I lost a lot of love that I had for him with that album. If gaga had just done 5 albums that all sound like slightly different versions of The Fame, would fans really have been happy. And besides, whether fans want change or not, does it not say a lot about an artist who can't go more than three albums without really trying anything different. If an artist isn't willing to explore their creativity or push themselves artistically at least a little, they aren't really doing as much as they could be
