Bad Kids 3,061
I loved the 1980s-esque throwback, amazing song And when you say my name, like white horses on the waves, I think it feels the same, as an ocean in my veins.

I'm astounded her label let This Is How We Do and Birthday make the album, never mind end up as singles. The era is over now but looking back her single choices from Prism seem so hit and miss, I mean it's literally child's play: Roar, Dark Horse, Walking on Air, Legendary Lovers and By the Grace of God ...would of been the Prism singles run that made most sense to me anyway. This is How We Do Mrs. Caca's career found dead in a ditch, re-evaluation process started.

gagzus 16,087
it's not disco it's meant to be 90s inspired house but comes off as cheap, and don't get me started on the fact Luke and her just deepened her voice instead of hiring a black female backing vocalist
xoxo cupcakke 4,781
The Single That Got Away; Katy truly lost out on this. It was and continues to be everything that Katy can ever top in terms of the perfect pop song, aside from I Kissed a Girl, Teenage Dream, and California Gurls Lol at people thinking its disco. It heavily resembles dance-pop songs of the 90s that were themselves heavily influenced by 90s deep house. Some examples:
