secondly thats not my only concern. Lyrics aside, her vocals sound slightly creepy and weird, and even the instrumental on the part "lets funk downtown" sounds really weird... A good weird to me, but not sure the GP and radio stations would go into it

 

Lastly, even if this song does catch on, this era is helping Gaga rebuild her immage. So far no big hits but lots of critical acclaim and good comments from GP

 

Do u really wanna blow the effect of this era on her immage already with a song like that? Even if its a hit in a way long term it may do more harm than good

 

let this image sink in a bit before she goes back to being edgy. They will criticize her less if they acknowledge well that she can be talented and good without edginess as well and wont call her desperate!

All it needs is a replay worthy video directed by a professional director (not Ruth) and a radio edit to block out the sexual references. A remix would make it even bigger. Its trendy, tropical, and perfect for Summer. The young generation will love it

THIS. I'm just nervous that she'll miss this opportunity for success. I always pictured DIC as the fourth single in the summer, and I think that was her plan. It's not a good song for the SB, which makes me think A-YO or DH, (most likely A-YO,) will be the new single. By the time the summer comes around, DIC will most likely no longer be on Spotify's playlist. Further, if she keeps A-YO, DIC could outshine it. If she switches her plans, we could have another A-YO/Million Reasons fiasco. UGH!!
