socotra 3,310
One of the things I respected most about Gaga when she first hit the mainstream was that she sang live and danced. Maintaining vocal stability and doing the same choreography as her dancers was the most admirable thing about her. (As an aside, this performance particularly awes me: Anyway, since she broke her hip, she slowed down her dancing considerably in live performances, right, or is that just me? The only performance that comes to mind is the AMA's DWUW performance, which was a wonderful performance, but it terms of dancing, I don't think it was as intensive as her previous stuff. So, are there any performances post-BTW where she absolutely killed the dancing/singing thing simultaneously? I can't seem to find anything. And related: has she said in any interview that she purposefully has lessened the intensity of her choreography? EDIT: I want to mention Victoria's Secret – I realized how little dancing she does nowadays when I watched those performances. However, I don't think these performances come even close to BTW-levels. She does about a minute of dancing during A-YO and then struts around for John Wayne (not a knock on her, that's just the vibe of the show).

Allan 3,879
I think Applause was the last time we saw some intense choreography, but that's due to the song's BPM I guess.
Ashley 9,387
Heavy hitting dance numbers don't match the music this era, though the choreo for the VSFS fit perfectly.
