listen carefully during the chorus (example 0:42) you can hear a crowd cheering sound...WHY?

it's not a really uncommon thing to put some crowd cheering sound in the mix. In an interview about her production, Grimes said that she does it quite often in her upbeat songs.

Nice find! I think I hear it in the intro A little as well, Probably to give more pop and energy. She does that alot in her songs adding quirky sounds to layer it or make it sound more interesting.

I've never noticed that (maybe because I'm still listening to the leaked songs instead of the cd rip cuz I'm to lazy to rip it) but from now on I'm gonna pay more attention to it

I did kind of notice it. I could hear there was something there before but I couldn't work out that it was a crowd like sound. Very cool!
