And if you're gonna say that every performer has them I'll say Gaga isn't every performer. Monsters want an old rock band that will appeal to the str8s so Gaga can get more acclaim, but she honestly doesn't need any guests to make a compelling halftime show. I think her halftime should showcase the highlights of HER pop catalog while also introducing newer material from Joanne, and it'd be really hard to do with a guest or guests taking up five minutes or more from a relatively short thirteen minute mini-concert. I mean won't you be pissed if Gaga performs too many medleys? Or skips an entire era of material? Doesn't perform enough from Joanne? Gets "upstaged" by her guest? It's too risky. I'd want her setlist to look like this: 1. Poker Face /with elements of Just Dance and LoveGame 2. Paparazzi /With elements of the Paparazzi+Telephone videos 3. Bad Romance /with a more organic instrumental and extended French section 4. Perfect Illusion /Begins the Joanne section of the halftime 5. John Wayne /picked for its short length and catchiness 6. Diamond Heart /the halftime show has shifted from a neon pop show to a grittier rock halftime with a more stripped back aesthetic 7. Born This Way /Performed more passionately than ever and with a rock tinge 8. Gaga was in a cover band (acdc? led Zeppelin_ called mackin Pulsifier. She lists influences like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden... Gaga is a rock and metalhead. I only ask for them. Maybe Elton. But if you're going to bring Elton, you leave Florence. Only one other "major" artist aside her please. For me, bringing these amazing, moderate successful artists is the best way to create a unique show. Because a good Halftime Show is also made of the guest stars. Bringing together these different artists will be amazing. No Beyonces or whatever. If she's having a guest though make it one insanely good one, bring out Queen for **** sake!
