Bette Davis 12,742
We are so lucky to stan the Queen of Paraguay, New York state, and Sterling, Virginia "At HotelsCombined, we set out to determine exactly which countries are most fascinated by the biggest stars on earth. To do so, we analyzed Google Trends data for searches relating to the world’s 20 most powerful celebrities, as ranked by Forbes. Our results proved more than a little surprising... All our data refer to searches made between January 2004 and March 2015." StrawberryBlond 14,898
Really surprises me to see smaller countries and countries with small music markets being this into all these names. The Taylor Swift one in particular was a shocker. Gaga must have really made an impact when she went to Paraguay, even though it wasn't the most sold-out show. Out of all the Latin American countries where she'd be the most talked about, I thought it would totally be Mexico. Pity a lot of these countries mentioned are places that you just can't do tour dates in. Could you imagine knowing that your biggest fanbase was in a country that didn't have an arena or its citizens were too poor to buy tickets?

Tbh, I'm surprised it's not Brazil I'm just wondering how they conducted these results. Not sure if I understand, but is it most searches between that time period they state or most searches per person in a specific place in that period. Luc 4,775
Take this with a grain of salt. This is calculated by searches in relation to 'normal' amount of searches tht that particular place gets. If Gaga is #1 in Paraguay, it means that she gets a disproportional amount of traffic from there but considering how poor and small that country is, it could be a small difference. I don't think Gaga's actually that popular in Paraguay, based on Spotify and Youtube charts and ticket sales.
