I don't think this will effects hacks that much. I mean, I'm sad that this has happened (though I was excited about it) but it kind of indicates you need to be a little more careful with hacks and fangames now. It also indicates Nintendo is being more corporate in practices.

Unfortunate. Glad there's still a few out there that are complete.

There's quite  few out there. Pokecommunity has an entire forum section.

I think the main problem was the fact that they were on purposely advertising it.

Yeah is kind of their fault for making such a public spectacle about it with YouTube videos and everything. Unfortunate but there are still a lot of good ROMs and hacks available

Yeah, there's faults on both grounds.

The creator for making into a public spectacle.

And Nintendo for becoming Anne Rice of gaming companies.

What do you expect, Nintendo ofc gonna protect their products, music, movies and tv shows stealing are enough trouble for the business, and now we have this too.

Well ROMs aren't anything new. I think it's mostly because of the fact it was highly publicized.

Nintendo should know what the main problem of their business is. They don't appeal to adults besides the ones they captred while they were young. And maybe some new peeps with Fire Emblem becoming a burgeoning franchise again.
