Just because she isn't at her 2010 level success or popularity does not make her career over. If anything, the trend Gaga faces applies to most white female pop artists. The artists that are dominating currently like Drake, The Weeknd, Rihanna, and Beyonce have a more R&B/ rap sound. Gaga's original EDM Pop sound is no longer popular (seldom for a few songs this year) and her folk/ country inspired album certainly follows no current music trends.
