She just moved on from her previous eras. BTW for example was really hard for her cause she didnt feel she was doing anything for herself, all just for the fans. Then we had the ARTPOP era mess with Troy. So if I were Gaga, I'd rather disregard them too. Why would she need to go on about her previous eras if those eras were dark times?

I don't think she means it the way everyone is interpreting her statement, though I do agree her word choice was pretty poor. I think she just means that there are very few metaphors or any embellishment in the way she is presenting her visuals. Everything in the videos are there for a specific reason that relates to the storyline. Its a more realistic representation of her life, almost like a documentary. For example, there is no extravagance like mansions, no choreography, ect.
