What's the truth?

Because I know it could've been so much better. I wasn't expecting any big set/budget mv, but it could've been simple in a positive way.

The first parts are so good. Her down on the ground, the instrumental and her in the car is all very powerful. Then the make up chair in black and white came. Sure, she looked good, but it's such a cliché to me and I feel like it's been done so many times before.
The thing that really triggered me was the pink outfit though. I didn't like it, first of all, but it felt kinda easy since it's probably scenes from the Apple commercial they used to finish the product.

Let me get this straight (:emma:): I'm sure that most fans on this site are just forcing themselves to like her new music and image. That's because they are taught that true fanzzzz have to like everything the artist does or they'll go to hell or something, so it's always very likely for them to just like explode and express their disapproval at the first misstep.

Every one of her albums after TFM was an adjustment for me since she changes her sound so drastically each album and I think that's how most people feel. I don't think people are necessarily forcing themselves to love Joanne, but letting it grow on them. That was certainly the case for me. It's such a grower like much of BTW was for me.

I hate that whole "LOVE EVERYTHING SHE DOES AND SCREAM YAAAAS OR ELSE YOU SHOULD DIE/DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT BECAUSE THAT MEANS YOU'RE A FAKE CHARTSTER FAN" mentality. That attitude is so much more fake than people being honest about what they do or don't like. I think it's just a matter or trying to keep opinions respectful and not overreact. She does things that I love and things that I hate, but at the end of the day I still love her. This video is an example of something I really dislike, but I don't see the need to "burn my stan card" over it.

Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.

First things first, she aint a country singer! 2nd of all, fans miss the old Gaga the one that was crazy and stuff and even hatted be herself for being like that. 3rd its the Bowie affect.

The Fame Joanne

We only got two videos with ARTPOP and I (and others probably too) thought she'd try to make up for this with the new era but oh well. PI was mediocre but tolerable, MR was... (I don't wan't to get a WP)

MessyTop

Bjork is a perfect ensamble of changing her sound and keeping her art.

We are over Gaga trying to be non artistic. Again is looking like she's trying to be down to earth and stripped down. Nobody buys it
