gagadonkster 124
I fell in love with Gaga in the year 2009 when she had her amazing and creative Fame Monster era. You guys remember all the bops, bad romance, alejandro, pokerface, telephone etc? She was unbeatable back then. Amazing outfits, amazing music videos, dance choreography, monster ball, collab with the queen of pop beyonce, beef with Madonna. Her performances were always amazing; remember live performances of bad romance or visuals from the monster ball or the time she wore a pyro bra or paparazzi vma performance? Those were the best iconic fame monster Gaga stuff. I think Joanne is amazing album and it has good music but it is no way near the perfection of the fame monster era! Do u guys miss it as much? DeanWinchester 41,390
Not necessarily. Each Gaga era is best for something--i.e., best for partying, for self-reflection, etc Flyin' like a 1000 Doves

REALITY 77,016
This discussion again. On a serious note though, not necessarily for me. I became a fan of her during ARTPOP, and I've loved her ever since. While I love the nostalgia factor, there's still one Gaga. She just decides to show another side of herself with each era. MarryTheKnight 2,181
In terms of my favorite music, aesthetics, tour and persona then an outstanding yes The ideas that the Haus of Gaga had during the Dada years were iconic and inspiring. However, as the years have gone on and Gaga has opened up her personal life more, I truly think the 2008-2010 Gaga was exactly a persona and not who she truly is as a person. And I definitely think she doesn't like being famous, which is ironic considering her early work revolved around an obsession with fame. I truly think Joanne's aesthetic and message is more true to who she really is, which in reality is a very simple, lowkey woman
