DanMonster 185
Hello Monsters! I don't post here often but I really have something to say right now. After seeing the biggest Monster meltdowns I have ever seen in my life, I have finally hit my breaking point with some of you. I am sitting here on my laptop listening to Grigio Girls and Joanne on repeat and I am pretty much crying because this album is one of the most beautiful and meaningful albums I have every heard. I get to listen to such a beautiful and brave woman sing these songs she has written and get to feel her emotions and the struggle of her life. This is a woman who has PTSD, depression, anxiety and chronic pain but still sticks around partly for us. The reactions some of you have given is quite frankly disgusting - over a music video. I am not here to tell you to like the album or the song or the video or anything for that matter - I am just so sad that she tried to establish a more human connection with us and a deeper look into her life and so many Monsters basically trashed her for it. Again you don't have to like it but you have to remember she says she will be going till she is like 80 years old so you are not going to die because we are getting one stripped back album - she can deliver bops and visuals for the rest of her life but this is what is important right now for her. I don't want to sound like I am attacking anyone but I have just had enough of letting her be attacked by her own fans. Sorry about the rant but I needed to say that and now I will get onto what this thread is about. I want you guys to reply with something you are grateful to Gaga for during this era. I am loving the era and if Gaga reads all this hate I want her to know there are so many Monsters still here for her and loving what she is doing. I'll start: Gaga I am so grateful that you are brave enough to write an album that lets us learn more about your personal life. Songs such as 'Joanne', 'Million Reasons' and 'Grigio Girls' are some of my favourite songs ever because I can relate to the pain you sing about in these songs. Thank you also for the Million Reasons video! I cried when I watched it because it really meant something to me. It is just so emotional and I can't thank you enough for letting us see that side of you! Thank you so much Gaga we love you and cannot wait for the many exciting things to come - especially the Super Bowl!! Now I would love for you Monsters to reply with what you are grateful for from this era!

SarahYuko 1,002
I love how she's opening up to the world and how mature she is now. Seeing the way she dealt with that Morgan person, I was so proud of her. She has so much class and patience, as a human being I believe she has come a long way. And I personally love Joanne. Katie14 4,828
Thank you for this thread! I am grateful to Gaga for being brave enough to reveal her mental health struggles with the world. It is incredibly scary to be that vulnerable in public but she is doing it because she wants to raise awareness of issues she cares about and make a positive impact on the world. The best thing she can do to help these causes is just by using her platform and talking about it.

I always say that if you criticize her, she'll gently argue with you with class and grace. You criticize her monsters, class and grace go out the ****ing window. Now she'll just rip into the critic so fast it'll make their head spin. Nobody screws with her monsters. I love you monsters. I'd be unfixably broken without you
Letmelivemylife 8,715
I'm greatful for having a woman in my life that was the first person to love me unconditionally for who I was. She saw how broken and damaged I was and yet to her I was the most beautiful creation God ever made. I love you monsters. I'd be unfixably broken without you

yASSsss 35,510
I wanted to make a thread like this but I seriously lack writing skills,so thanks for making this thread,i couldn't have said it better myself My love for Gaga knows no boundries but the things she's been doing/saying lately -Joanne,opening up about her deepest secrets(PTSD,Sexual assualt) ,its making me respect her even more both as an artist and a human being <3 I wish i could just hug her someday and tell her how brave she is for doing this Call me by your name and I'll call you by mine
RochestrMonstr 3,199
Thank you very much for a positive thread! I'm going to try to avoid reading the complaining threads for a while! I'm greatful for Gaga because as a young homosexual from a small town, I was terrified to let people know I was gay. It didn't feel like I had anyone to support me, but then Gaga came along. Suddenly there was this superstar who came out of nowhere who was talking about gay rights. I became comfortable thanks to her, and sure enough, coming out was the best thing I'd ever done. Over the following years, as I've bought her albums, I've loved each one more than the last (except C2C, which I do still love, just not as much as the original ones). Each one has become the soundtrack to my life at that point. Joanne is my favorite though, I love how warm and emotional it feels. I feel as though Gaga is sharing her emotions with us so much this era, and I love it.
DanMonster 185
I'm so happy to hear these beautiful stories! I was a little shocked by the amount of negativity that came out the other day so it is nice to hear all of your love for Gaga.
Secret 2,320
I can relate so much! I love the album so much, it has an important place in my heart because it really helped me overcome difficult situations such as the death of beloved people. Thank you for this nice thread
Letmelivemylife 8,715
Words can't describe how greatful I am for gaga. She was the first person who made the promise to always be there to catch me when I fell and she's the only person who has kept that promise. She's the first person who loved me unconditionally for who I am. We can't even begin to imagine how much she loves us. It's a love that's so strong and fierce that it crushes any negativity in its path. A love that will last until her last breath I love you monsters. I'd be unfixably broken without you
