Let's face it, she's not "cool" enough for streaming anymore.

The only way she could change this is by feeding the GP with some utter crap like Sia or Coldplay decided to do. Doing the same **** over and over again, not taking any risk, not pushing the enveloppe.

She has too much integrity for it though, so get used to not seeing her name on those lists. :classy:

If she keeps going with safe single choices she's not pushing anything either. :ladyhaha:

Might be a dumb question but why do radios freeze their playlists during the holidays?

1) Holiday songs go into rotation, taking up space for new singles.

2) Countdowns for Biggest/Best Songs of 2016 take up even more space for new singles.

3) Because of reason 1 and 2, labels cut down on new releases to radio in December.

4) Because of reason 3, stations often don't change playlists and play new singles less until January 2nd onward.

and Beyonce is never going to have a commercial mainstream hit single ever again. Plus, Beyonce has a different audience that is more tolerant. Gaga sells lots of music to the middle America crowd, making a super political message at the Super Bowl would hurt her.

Beyoncé has two singles off Lemonade that sold over 900k a third single at over 700k and a fourth somewhere at 600k. She also has the second best selling first week sales for a single by a female artist this year with Formation. Although that really should be third considering work sold 126k in one day and is counted and that is counted as her first week sales. If that isn't commercial single success please explain to me what is.

Commercial mainstream hit single being a Top 40 hit.

What exactly is "safe" about Perfect Illusion or Million Reasons??

It sounds like NOTHING else in the top 40 charts at the moment. :toofunny:

I'm not talking about that, but she only releases the safer stuff out of her albums ever since Judas happened and that bugs me. It's not pushing too much you know

Oh you may be right about this... I guess they still go for the songs where they think radios might eventually pick them up.

But it doesn't change the fact those singles are not "safe" at all in today's pop environment. Not at all.

I'd rather have a song out of the top40 that sells 900k than one inside that sells less than 500k.

But anyhow, the sales died so much. :cryga:
