They're out of her comfortable belting range, so they come off as sharp and flat screams. Also, she couldn't hit them at all during live performances. MTN had the same problem during the outro. The studio version was fine because it was edited and has some rough edge to it. Compare them to the Grammy Nomination Concert performance and you'll hear the difference.
