(Perfect Illusion MV) But her friends were all worried about her, went out looking for her, and found her out there on the ground and picked her up and hugged her. With their encouragement she was able to keep going. And with her little gift from her sister saying that she's proud of her, she had her one good reason to stay: to keep making her sister proud. She then gets comfort out of the necklace. ...but I think the editing isn't that great and it definitely disrupts the meaning so to say. That doesn't sound like 'her friends' came to pick her up... If she wanted to portray her friends picking her up in the desert they would never come in big black cars... Just think about it... I thought she portrayed her friends by showing her hugging them and gaining comfort from them? I just thought it was more of a contrapuntal sound to show the chaos she was in. I see it as a more true to life and less abstract. She seems to have gone missing one day to escape which in turn caused all her friends/team to rally around looking for her. They turn up, console her and lift her up but the show must still go on and she knows that. She changes into her Joanne attire and the necklace from her sister gives comfort and confirms that she has to carry on fighting, surviving. Tim Link 20 Posted December 15, 2016 Share Posted December 15, 2016 i honestly think these are little monsters... like we are the one reason for her to keep going. and this makes total sense to me. i think it shows that different people care for her, strangers, fans, assistants etc and the love of everyone gives her the strenght to carry on...
