What are your thoughts on Gaga's creativity/originality nowadays?

Live performances, the music, the outfits are all great. Her videos on the other hand.......

She's very creative but keeps on releasing mediocre to okay videos. Performances (and some looks) are A+

It's still there.
Just look at the John Wayne performance at Victoria's Secret. 
But she wants to go to other directions so badly... being "relatable" and "basic" obviously isn't her thing...

I don't even understand why, sadly. Who would have thought the girl who once wore a meat dress is now trying to be a basic pop star.

It leaves something to be desired for little cryptics like myself that like to pull apart the music in insane (and sometimes delusional) levels of detail...but that doesn't make it any less enjoyable imo

Like I said in the other thread, Joanne came at a great time in my life. Lots of changes, stress, and things that I need to do so it's great to have Gaga going through a relaxing era with straightforward music

The music is creative IMO, but more important it's organic and comes for a genuine place and that's why it is soo good. 

I liked the PI video. It was such a high energy simple video that think she pulled off really well.

A part of me feels like she's afraid to go back to what she's known for.

I don't think she's lost it at all. We've seen slivers of it in her performances. She could be testing the waters for all we know.

In any case, what Gaga has given us now is still refreshing and interesting to me. It's just different part of her she's sharing. And I don't have a problem with it.
