I don't think it has anything to do with a "spoilt culture". I wanted the video to be good for my enjoyment, sure, but I also wanted it to be an amazing representation of Gaga and I don't feel like it is.

which is a fair opinion for you to express

but there have been a lot worse comments on the site

But I fell in love with gaga the crazy bitch who we loved not joanne the country singer who makes boring videos ... Just saying. Come at me because I'm ready girl haha jk I'm just saying. I still love her tho but she is just like a complete different person these days and I love her for doing what she wants but people and gaga can't expect some LM to still stand by her when the music is different the videos are not how they use to be. She is kinda like a different person now its ro be expected that everyone isn't going to agree with what she does now. No hate. Love you all! :kara:

@AlexanderMagno is correct in a way that she started this culture.

However, she didn't know how it would end.

She gave a enormous few of disenfranchised teenagers and young adults the rights to be themselves. However, she fed them too much, to the point where Born This Way wasn't about being yourself, but to where they felt it was about them.

Not saying that everyone who experienced the BTW era is a bunch of selfish brats, but she let many be selfish. Too many. She became too involved.

The fact that so many people here want what they want from her, indicates a lot of unhealthy mindsets who have not aged well and probably need therapy.

Yes, you are allowed to voice your opinion - I've been very clear about that in OP and in further comments... you also are allowed to say what direction you'd like her to go in. But you can't get angry at Gaga for not going in that direction.

I haven't seen anyone say: I'm angry at Gaga. What do you mean?

How will she perceive if we are " angry" at her or not, if not by the comments of us disliking the video?

I know I'm not angry.

I know I'm not angry.

I have seen many comments in the MR reaction thread saying things like

"WTF is she playing at, we waited x amount of years for this and she repays us with this its an outrage" etc.

ryhanna

You guys are like, all blowing it way out of proportion.

6 months she'll be done with this album and starting to work on the next, probably with a different style and aesthetic. I'm sure by then you might find something to like. And if you liked Joanne/MR, maybe you won't like what's next? Who knowwwssssss.

No need to get shitty.

You're right.

I loathe the video, but it's not the end. A sh*tty video or two doesn't define her musicianship, or her artistry.

You know, a lot of people joke about this "cult site", but it's true.

Twitter, even worse.

Ok, then we can all stop listening to her and leave her in the dust, never able to perform again.

You are stupid. Gaga is the one who is spoilt, not us. We are the ones who give her a platform. We are the ones who let her dreams bloom. Let's be real, the GP doesn't even like Gaga. We are the ones who have allowed her to stay solid and she's completely spitting in our faces with this rubbish.

Joanne is going to broaden her demographic so she isn't so dependent on overdramatic Pop fans seduced by shiny objects. This is a good thing for Gaga.

LOVE the video! I think the reason why most monsters don't care for it is because we have seen her this vulnerable before so it's not as personal to us as it is to the GP.  Watch it again and really focus on her state of mind.  Your heart will break for her.  Almost cried watching it again a few hours later. I love you Gaga! :kara:

She's actually not going to broaden her demographic by much. Just wait and see. The GP has already formed their opinion on Gaga. Now she is just wasting her time.

Gaga fans didn't expect much with this video. We would be fine with her walking down a street in black and white like Adele, but the MV is just scraps and a few corny ass new scenes that completely ruin it.

Saint Laurent

Actually our monetary contributions have made her as successful as she is and without that monetary contribution she wouldn't have had the career she's had, so lets stop pretending that our money didn't buy her Malibu house, shall we?
