Like was there any leaks like the omg leak we got for Joanne? What about producers? Did any of them say anything like, "Bey's new album is so heartfelt and amazing!" or were they told not to speak by Bey or the label? No one had any idea. Producers were sworn to secrecy. Everyone thought that maybe an album would come late 2014, but still everyone was unsure. When it was released, everybody thought it was some fan made things, because they thought the album cover sucked (I actually like it) and it wasn't until the next day that everyone ****ing died. I knew it was real, because I listened right away, but people thought it was like unreleased songs, or some trick. But yeah no one knew. This time around the BeyHive Team had a lot of info on Lemonade. They called it the lemonade project, and said it was a movie.
