But I don't agree that she was the better vocalist. Whitney wasn't properly trained and ended up losing her heavenly singing voice as a result. Perhaps her voice was more universally appealing, but I think the better vocalist would be the one with proper technique who can continue to sing and belt her heart out for more than a few years.
