Did your opinion on this Million Reasons performance change?

A lot of you were criticising her vocals when the leak first came out. The truth is Gaga knew what she was doing and was doing tremendously brilliant. It was the raw version which made her vocals sounded shaky and pitchiful. The final version sounds perfectly fine and she sounds amazing in it. The instrumental and her voice are on sync, the vocals are now loud enough to hear and the visuals are beautiful. This is one of the best Million Reasons performances we have and some called it the worst when they've only seen the leak.

I'm just disappointed over the fact that we, the media included, were judging Gaga's vocals and unfairly placed criticism on her when it was the editors' fault and not hers.

Let us think twice before doubting our queen again in the future.

Wait... Isn't the version on TV the edited version? So shouldn't we be thanking the editors instead of blaming them?

And it still wasn't perfect. There were some moments I cringed. ALTHOUGH I did enjoy it overall.

To be fair, from the audiences' amateur recordings it actually sounded good, the leak was just so messy lmao but good thing the final version turned out to be heavenly good:diane:

I thought it was close to flawless, at least it's far from being the performance that GGD members were describing it to be.

Yeah we should be thanking the editors who made this final version, I was just commenting on the bad audio arrangement in the first version. I think it's more appropriate to place blame on the people who leaked it instead.

its edited, i can tell. i doubt a fan recording of the televised preview is really gonna be that sub par.

and aside from that, she just tried way too much with it, and the mood the song took was a bit extra....

Perfect, I agree.

And there's too many cringey things that happen throughout for me to consider it "close to flawless."

It sounds a lot better than the leak. Not gonna lie, I just wished she had worked on her ad-libbing a bit more. It was so close to spot on, yet still felt so far. Not sure if she just thought to do ad-lib on the spot or she just didn't get enough time to practice, but she's getting there at least

well the thing is those ad libs change the core of the song, and the style it was written in. small changes here and there are fine, like her SNL performance, or the small diminishes she does during the pre chorus at the AMA's, thats fine, they where done well and only slightly enhanced the song. but her runs on this performance just took away from it.

Nope. The final version was edited, pitch-corrected and re-synced (she's still lagging at some parts)
