androiduser 7,438
because it was pretentious, didn't live up to the hype (where was the art?) and it was mismanaged
Maleficent 6
It was about being famous, rich, and adored. Not really relatable for most people.
LittleBoot 27
I think often when an artist becomes super huge, there is often a backlash, which was bound to follow after Born this Way, where she rode the Fame Monster tidal wave and was basically everywhere. Time the inevitable backlash with a super-hyped album with arty ambitions that many found confusing or pretentious and overshadowed the actual music -- and you have ARTPOP. I enjoyed a lot of the album, I just wish she hadn't chosen to work with R Kelly and Terry. They're both gross.

NickiMinajStan 6,722
Because monsters are basic and base their "taste" on chart success It is her best album. HEART OF EVER-FROST
Hades 27,980
The concept of the album failed to live up to its standards. Most people won't relate with lyrics about Koons or Jewels n drugs. It contains some quality songs like Gypsy but that's all.
