AndrewGr 6,022
Aren't we allowed to just dislike it? Just as much you are allowed to believe that it's a good and "important" album, which seems like a total joke to me. Allow people to have an opinion even if it's different than yours. I don't think the part "Had it been Gaga who released that album, you would be praising it to heaven" is true, Gaga has received/still receives enough criticism from her own fanbase. The problem is none of these reasons make sense.
The Fame Joanne 5,985
She's a good singer but overrated and that's annoying. And Lemonade IS NOT better than anything Gaga released so far. How can you just ignore TFM aka the best pop album of the millenium?

nexus 551
I've noticed a number of people (who are hardcore music fans) turned off by it because of the sheeplike band wagoning that's been going on by the GP and certain media sources who try to appeal to them. Sort of making it overrated. With that being said, I do still like it though

There's no objective way of deciding that, but if we look at the reviews...

ryanripley 86,575
because Lemonade isn't that good compared to her 2013 album and she's very overrated https://goo.gl/xMgMvJ
Flaming Piano 165
While I do agree to an extent that "Lemonade" was overexposed, it's important to consider what this album meant to a lot of people, particularly African Americans and even more particularly African American women. For many, it gave them a voice and a sense of an empowerment when they felt that their very government and elected officials didn't care for them. From a musical sense, it was also Yonce's most ambitious project to date. She experimented with various genres, something we as Gaga fans can appreciate in a female pop star. Just my two cents. I may be biased since I saw the Formation World Tour twice and it was DAMN good show in support of a DAMN good album.
Morphine Prince 105,415
I thought most people liked it though? It's the only Beyonce album I've listened to in full and it's good imo. But I do think she is becoming overexposed.
Red 97,948
I love her and I love Lemonade but people kinda treat her as a divine flawless being and I think it's kinda too much If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating. Sam Dey 1,847
Well the thing that bothers me about her is that she basically turned into a marketing object. Het album 'Lemonade' makes it seem like it's about black activism but it's just about money. It's just her label that came up with the strategy and they knew it would make tons of money because racism has been a big topic in the media for the last couple of years so they decided to take advantage of it. Beyonce doesn't even explain or promote her album. She doesn't even do interviews where she explains the importance and the meaning of the album. If you wanna listen to music of real black activists listen to nina simone or kendrick lamar. Beyonce isn't one of them. although Beyonce is an amazing entertainer/singer, she really turned me off with Lemonade. It's just sad to see how far the entertainment industry will go to make money.
