DiscoHeaven23 35,007
Glory is one of Britney Spears' best albums and it made me think, should it have gotten a Grammy nom for something? In my opinion Glory and Dangerous Woman were the best PURE pop albums this year (I don't really consider Joanne PURE pop). So if Dangerous Woman got a nom, should Glory have too? Sound off below. MarryTheKnight 2,181
no, Britney has the reputation of being too manufactured in the sense that she has no real role in the making of her music. Until she can disprove this by maybe singing live/ not being a robot, she wont receive any Grammy nominations
Fiona Apple 13,006
Not really. But there are worse albums that are nominated

Brian Ryan 1,468
Nope. The album flopped. Britney does not even care and still on tour with Vegas. She lipsyncs. I don't think someone who lip-syncs all the time should win an award for Best Pop Vocal album. Whose to say it's absolutely her singing? I love Britney, but no it's just not the album. It's her force behind it too. She's not hunger. One of my favorite albums of the year, but in no way would I nominate her at all.
CakeLikeLG 6,275
if Genericemi Lovato and Chainsmokers can get a nom then I don't see why Britney can't have one live each day like Gaga might drop an album

I'm a Britney fan. I saw her in Vegas and listen to her every day on my run. Her last Grammy was in 2005. I am saying that she has the reputation of not being involved in her work because she never has anything eloquent to say about the music she creates. You can be delusional and stay in 1999, or you can just see the reality of her situation.
The Child 18,997
I voted no honestly cause I'm really expecting an album from her that she will probably never deliver, I'm expecting a kind of Ray Of Light from her tbh, I know she is capable of doing an album as mature and I know she has the potential to but it seems that making music for her is more of a job or a hobby. I missed when she wanted to make music cause it was a passion to her. Glory is way better than her last 3 albums but it's still not what I'm expecting from her and really far from her actual potential. ‘If religion be the cause of disunity, then irreligion is surely to be preferred.’ ‘Abdu’l-Bahá

You can stay uneducated and believe that because someone doesn't have a large vocabulary to describe their work automatically means they had zero input on it. I don't understand why you would tell me to stay in 1999 cause she actually had zero input in her debut album. ‘If religion be the cause of disunity, then irreligion is surely to be preferred.’ ‘Abdu’l-Bahá

I don't really see how you would ever expect anything like that from Britney Britney has never ever been actually experimental or really deep and mature. She was never pushing boundaries in terms of her music. So when she didn't even do that in her peak ,why would she do that now?
