What I said was WFH deserved a nod for Best collab, not bcuz it' a bop. bcuz it actually deserved one, it might not be your taste but doesn't change that fact it's a good song a deserved a nom Well I actually really enjoy listening to WFH. But when I look songs objectively, I also have to take into account the lyrics, vocal delivery, message, cohesiveness etc.

Eighteen 5,430
i like JB's music this year, i think it was good. i haven't heard bowie or radiohead's latest album so i can't really say this or that (but i love bowie). as for the chainsmokers, closer is pretty good i don't mind it, idk if it should have been nominated (though i doubt it'll win anything). as for 5h, i don't like work at all (seems generic), so from my perspective, it's all good there. as for rihanna's work, i think that that song is deceptively (somewhat) complex and also fascinating because of its use of creole language. in my state, we speak pidgin (that same kind of english in rihanna's song) and it is very difficult to put a song together that is pop that involves that kind of broken english (i've seen it executed poorly many times, we have terrible songs with pidgin playing on my local radio). she and her writers did a really good job with that in my opinion and it's actually kind of clever, coming from an "insider." overall, i think adele and beyonce were really good this year (though not to slight bowie and radiohead cause i haven't listened to their latest albums personally) and should win some awards. JB album was also pretty good. made me a fan at least. note: all of the work by rihanna lyric videos on youtube are wrong. the only place i've seen it correct (in my opinion) is on genius.com

The 1975 weren't nominated for ANYTHING even tho their album was on many of the year-end lists I CACKLED when Purpose was nominated for AOTY over Bowie and Radiohead. Like what is wrong with the world Zayn deserved at least one nod 5H deserved a nom for Work from Home I dont like Shawn Mendes but he deserved SOMETHING Revival was snubbed and Confident was nominated instead. Demi is a vocal powerhouse but that album is just And Ariana deserved more. And let's not forget 'A Seat at the Table' self-written and self-produced by Solange (when will her sister ) which was released on 30th September and WAS eligible for a Grammy ....Meanwhile the Rats a.k.a The Potsmokers got 3 nominations #GrammysCancelled What are your thoughts? The 1975 i recently listened to and found it to be very interesting and good, i guess a nod would have been good I actually thought Purpose was one of my fave albums this year, i never listened to Blackstar or the Radiohead so i dont know how good it was. Zayn should have been a Best New Artist nod with Mendes I def think Work From Home should have been voted for Pop collab And Revival is definately a great album..im actually jammin to it now. But I havent heard all of Confident Im glad Ariana got at least 2 noms And The Chainsmokers are good imho
