While the other nominations were kind of obvious, this one surprised me very pleasantly. I know her chances of winning are very slim (against 25 and Dangerous Woman), but we can hope I guess. I agree! I really love where she's taken her career recently and thought Confident was one of the best pop albums of 2015. I understand her personality rubs people the wrong way, but I think she's incredibly talented and underrated. I'm glad she got the nomination, it was well deserved. A win is unlikely, but I'm just happy she's been recognized by the awards.

Fine with Sia, Twenty One Pilots, Drake, and Panic at disco's noms, though the pilots and Panic could had a few more and I would exchange some of the songs submitted by Drake. So many of the artists on your list and not on your list could have been nominated for Best Rock Performance instead of Bey. I never would have imagined seeing her and Disturbed in the same category but slay I guess.

n0ne 13,105
Grammys already cancelled But if The Weeknd, Gaga, and Childish don't all get noms for 2018, there's no turning back. StrawberryBlond 14,883
Pretty predictable choices, although I am absolutely stunned that Blackstar and A Moon Shaped Pool didn't get AOTY noms. They were critically praised and were some of the most talked about albums of the year. To see them get snubbed over this Sturgill Simpson (who?) album is really strange. It looks like Beyonce's win is practically nailed on here. It was like the noms were made so that she could win. I really don't think they'll give it to Adele for 2 consecutive albums. No Perfect Illusion, I knew that would probably be the case, all things considered. But that was the only nom she could've had anyway. Next year, she'll have a ton of chances to win what with releasing more singles, plus, the album of course. And she'll have performed at the SB, so the critics could hopefully be aware of her and on her side. And yes! Demi got nominated! That album is so under-rated, so I'm so happy for her. And by the way, I thought someone said that songs from your album can't be nominated in different categories to one another, so why is Lemonade up for Best Urban Contemporary Album, but Don't Hurt Yourself is in the Rock category? LDGA 1,260
How is it that Confident, Views and Purpose gets nominations and Revival , ANTI don't, plus Work and 7 years as record of the year? This awards are already a joke, so many talented people and better nominees could have been chosen.
