Panchecco 17,614
She's so strong and inspiring and I absolutely adore her for it. It still shocks me to hear her talk about the rape... it's such a disgusting act especially since in her case it was a PRODUCER who basically used his position against a 19-year-old artist. #gross
Luxe Ford 3,481
Just some random ego massagere here, but I've been diagnosed with PTSD twice. How did he not know he had raped her? She said that in the Times Talk interview for the Hunting Ground. She was with Diane and 2 producers or Writers (not sure) for the documentary. It was really good. I suggest you watch the whole thing. But, she doesn't say how she knows that he doesn't know.

They gaslight you right after the event when you're still in the wake of trauma and make them believe it was something normal so that when you're brain is finally able to face what took place it's now you trying to change the events. Gagas spoken about it before that she was very innocent and shielded at the time so she believed their bs that it wasn't what adults do.
Nirvana 2,712
She is such an inspiration, I'm so glad she's raising awareness to this issue. People are quite clueless about PTDS, don't know that there are many things that can cause it, not only war traumas. I've been thinking that she might have had it even earlier, so many of her symptoms she has said point to it but I never shared my opinion here. I have PTDS but it started from different kind of trauma, and I'm still not cured of it. Also as in Gaga's case, earlier bullying, depression and eating disorders make it easier for PTDS to develop. As Gaga said in a tweet about repeated traumas, that it was not only about rape, so many things might have triggered it, made it worse. I also think she just did not want to face the trauma, just wanted to escape to music and career. Later on we could see signs that not everything was ok. It's very difficult to cope with it, and I hope Gaga has found a way to it. I just love her more than ever.
