DeanWinchester 41,390
@En_Sabah_Nur sorry if it came as brash, here's the deal: The South China Sea is a highly contested body of water that China claims 90% to--even including waters very close to the coasts of other nations. This is against the UNCLOS--United Nations Conventions on the Laws of the Seas and many smaller nations are threatened by this military build up of China. 1/3 of the world's trade passes through here, and China intends to use the body of water as its own not unlike the Roman Empire calling the Mediterranean Sea a "roman lake". China claiming this based on history is like, again, modern-day Italy claiming the extent of the Roman Empire at its peak as part of its territory. And China doesn't even have actual historical claims to it, because they followed suzerainty, not sovereignty in the past. They also always listed Hainan as their southernmost territory--nowhere past the South China Sea. They also never detailed the extent of their modern claims. Earlier this year, the Philippines won a legal claim against China but it fell on deaf ears despite China being a signatory nation to UNCLOS. Japan and the Philippines are US allies, so, any military move by China might drag the US in the area. Flyin' like a 1000 Doves

The problem is that our President Elect is handling delicate international relations with the same tact in which he he handles his feuds with Saturday Night Live and Hamilton. We elected Azealia Banks, and it's a little terrifying.

I cackled, its too accurate 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

Whispering 18,865
Twitter rants are not the proper channel for international diplomacy. Trump is a menace to America's ability to conduct foreign policy. This is how wars start.
