Because she was forced into a simulate rape scene that WAS NOT script. So to her, she was mentally raped even though she she wasn't physically raped. It's disgusting and it really shows how little Hollywood and men thought of women back then. Both are gross, both should be shunned from society, and if anyone stands against ONE then they should stand against the OTHER or else they'll be a hypocrite and be giving more power to misogyny in our society... For all we know the butter didnt go anywhere. You just saw him grab it, but u cant tell if it was in her or not. Im not defending the actions but i actually expected it to have been worse.
