Oh right. I agree, I don't care how old someone is. They need to get their payback.

It's not about how old he is but about how much time passed since the crime. But maybe the laws are different in the country that would be responsible for him (I doubt it tho, he wouldn't have talked about it if he wasn't sure that there wouldn't be consequences)

That is true, but there's also a lot of this "but he's so old, just let him live what's left of his life" talk which SHOULD NOT be tolerated in such cases.

Is it 10 years btw?

Rapes scenes are always crazy. I am surprised she wasn't told. Because she was forced into a simulate rape scene that WAS NOT script. So to her, she was mentally raped even though she she wasn't physically raped. It's disgusting and it really shows how little Hollywood and men thought of women back then.

Let's not compare this to what happened between Kanye and Taylor. We never got to know the whole truth and this is actual sexual harassment.

Ok 1st, you're hot.

2nd, not all sexual harassment/assault that occurs gets a confessional from the accused. This situation with the director is very rare, that the guy actually confesses. That's the only difference between the Taylor/Kanye situation and this one, that the guy said "yes I did something wrong and sexually harassed her", and yes I know that one of them is physical while the other is just words that's why one is sexual harassment (Kanye saying he'd F*** Taylor anyways) and misogyny (Kanye calling her a bitch) and the other is sexual assault. Both are gross, both should be shunned from society, and if anyone stands against ONE then they should stand against the OTHER or else they'll be a hypocrite and be giving more power to misogyny in our society...

That's disgusting.

GGD won't like my other thoughts so that's all I will say.

No, I want to hear them, too.

I've only heard about this movie in passing, let alone the scene itself, but it's really, really awful to hear that the actress has spoken about it for years, yet it gets attention when the director says it now.

Disgusting.

Oh I thought it was gonna be worse

Well she didn't agree to the butter and him sticking it on her private parts, nor did she even know about the whole scene even being done until hours before shooting and she was angry and thought she couldn't get out of it even though it wasn't in the script and she had a legitimate case if she refused to do it and sued them, but she was young, naive, and scared.

For all we know the butter didnt go anywhere.  You just saw him grab it, but u cant tell if it was in her or not.  Im not defending the actions but i actually expected it to have been worse.
