Why radio stations are not playing MR?

So 'Million Reasons' is rising up on the charts again, but there's a lack of airplay and streams! So, why radio stations are not playing it? Isn't it sent to radios yet?

it's been sent to radios. it's likely not being played for 2 reasons:

PI flopped, and its hard to get instant radio support after a flop single.

second, radio stations don't add too many songs during the holidays b/c they play more xmas music this time of year. it could pick up in early january, if the video helps to impact its longevity on iTunes.

Not much promo... no music video. I don't think it's been pushed yet to radios.

PI kinda flopped but MR is a completely different song. I really can't understand how radio stations are deciding to play songs. Do they even getting paid for that? It's such a pitty that radio stations in a way are the ones who decide which song gonna chart or not.  Music charts really suck nowadays!

Somewhat yes. It should have taken off after the AMA's, guess it just wasn't enough.

Looks like it's taking off now, though. It's a grower, in my opinion, just like the majority of the songs on Joanne. I mean, hey, it's #8 right now on iTunes, and it still has a green update.

It's a drastically different song for Gaga, in terms of what the GP will expect from her, we'll just have to wait and see how the next few weeks occur, especially since the video is expected to come soon.

and, holiday season. A lot of radios just play Christmas music, or a mix of both, so promoting a new song isn't happening.

no video, stations are playing holiday music, PI flopped and she hasn't done any major promo for it other than the amas but her performance was not enough

#8 on iTunes? That's pretty good. It would just do SO MUCH better with a good MV and some TV interviews + performance.  The GP just needs to hear it! It could be her "Hello".

I agree, it could be her "Hello". With just a bit more consistent promo, it could have the potential to become a pretty big hit, in my opinion.

she needed a hit lead single to push the whole era, so people and radio are paying dust..something must be done and fast to save Joanne

She's done a lot of promo for it at this point. But for some reason, I see stations picking it up very soon. It's at #8 on iTunes without Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, imagine where it will be after Monday. (This is assuming it stays at 8 or above before the show starts.) Also, we have the video coming #soon.
