SOME are going to. And they are going to see the VS performance, the AMA performance, and older performances. I highly doubt that a vast number of people is going to watch the Dive Bar Tour, or random radio interviews where she shows her "new" side. Honestly, I didn't do anything similar for other SB hosts. At best, I watched a couple performances from the first ones popping up on youtube. And I am sort of into pop culture. Go figure the reaction of the average spectator...

It would be possible to verify the impact of the SB on promo and views, and I believe that the result wouldn't be too different to what happens to sales - a boost, and that's it.

I agree with much of what you said, I do think that she's planning for the Super Bowl to really push Joanne and her new era, but I wouldn't say that she's just been doing low-key appearances. We've had the AMAs, the Victoria Secret Fashion Show, and we're going to get an X-Factor performance tomorrow.

I know she's not, but if she's smart, she will release an EP and announce her tour the day after the super bowl. I know that she writes constantly. I think she puts too much pressure on herself for her music to be "perfect". It's this pressure for perfection that causes hype and some letdown. But yeah, I think she needs to release something. 5-8 songs. Joanne is a good album, but it's not getting much traction. And maybe she doesn't care. And honestly, I HOPE she doesn't care. She should just make music she wants to make.
