It's normal for pop stars to take 3-year long breaks between albums (Katy, P!nk, Xtina haven't released in 3 - 4 years) And it's not like she only fed her horse and cooked lasagne Here are some of the things she did in the last 3 years.. 1) Had her own residency show (at just 28 Legend!) 2) Went on a world tour (79 shows!) 3) Recorded and released a jazz album, which was a success 4) Won another Grammy (and delivered an amazing performance) 5) Yet another tour (just months after the previous one) 6) Performed twice at the Oscars (and got tons of praise) 7) Portrayed a main character on one of TV's most popular shows ..which got her a Golden Globe 8) Released an Oscar-nominated single for a great cause (Yes, PI is not her first solo single in 3 years) 9) Proved the world she could sing 10) Recorded a masterpiece Your fave could never! Tbh that's just because ARTPOP era was short. She isn't just a pop star, she's an artist, and she has done so much these 3 years as an artist that she didn't ever leave in the first place. If you think about it ARTPOP was really her comeback. She took a 2 year break after BTW (beside the tour) plus she also broke her hip. So yeah, ARTPOP and Applause were Gaga's "traditional pop combacks", and they weren't really that successful commercially, so it's useless to try to put Gaga in a box anymore.
