I'm just curious The reason we have the EC is too make sure that small states have say, so we give them a disproportionate amount of voting power. yes it's as stupid as it sounds. Basically, slave states were smaller and wanted more political weight or they wouldn't join the union, so our idiotic founding fathers said, "sure, sounds like a plan."
