This is really helping her album sales. Man this is going to be a good week with Black Friday too.

And old people typically watch Sunday Morning and they're more likely to buy physical copies.

Gaga *Starts crying* Yes.

Interviewer: You feel the weight.

Gaga: I'm growing into my 30's AND I'm Catholic.

Interviewer: Miss real connections?

That's not what she said tho. She insisted for years that "Lady Gaga" is the real her. If I'm not mistaken she literally said that Stefani is Lady Gaga.

She always used to say how the wigs and clothes were her and now it sounds like it was just something she did to please her fans.

I think it's more that the wigs and clothes WERE her, but not 24/7.

She liked the art, the theatrics, the look, etc. but felt burdened by how she had to give it ALL the time.

I actually don't see why this is so difficult for people to understand.
It's not WHAT she was doing that was insincere, it was HOW much she had to do it. She felt she had to do it BOTH when she wanted to (genuine, who she is, Gaga=Stefani)  AND when she didn't want to (making it up, persona, not her real self).

It's like when you pretend to be nice to someone you hate. Faking a smile doesn't mean all your other smiles are fake too - it means in THOSE moments, where you're pretending to have fun with someone when you're not, you're not being honest. But that doesn't necessarily make you a dishonest person or mean that your honesty and kindness with other people was faked or a "persona."

Oldppl are more likely to enjoy Joanne too since the youth only appreciate condensed canned sadboy island infused electro pop as of present

When she laughter at Volantis :smh:

Also, I felt really sad for her but so confused when she said she always kept on the wigs and the outfits and the makeup to keep the fans happy, not because that's who she feels as a person, like she has been saying for almost all her career.

It's disappointing how she actually feels about "being Lady Gaga", and how she basically hates it... I mean, this must be her biggest career jump ever. I still love her though, just feel like I've been lied to for such a long time, it almost feels harder to relate to her now. I'm happy she's "more herself" now though, I guess.

Edit: just read what Kayla had to say, I guess I understand a bit more now. I just really wish she wouldn't have been so dishonest at times ever since the beginning, even though she was just trying to please us.

One, five, ten lay a million on me

This whole persona thing you guys are arguing about is what makes her human, the fact that she changed, she grew. Learn some of thaT!

In what part of what I quoted (that is THAT whole post) did yoy say you were being sarcastic? Or am I supposed to read everything you said in this entire thread to "get" that?

Everything that I thought I could relate to with her was apparently a lie :( It made me sad when she laughed at Volantis. She acts like her past was a huge laughable joke and she's a "real" artist now. I don't know what to think anymore.

You people love to reach and focus on only one part. No one remembers the beginning

-You are more lady than Gaga now

- really? Well, let's see tomorrow.

anyway, amazing interview. I love it when she opens herself like that.

You guys are over reacting. Wait for the Super Bowl and her tour. This girl never disappoints with her outfits during tours. Plus, who cares? Joanne is an amazing album. If anything she improved when she got rid off Troy.

I want her to do the 60 minutes one tbh.
