No she didnt! Wtf is this weird character now? Some stevie knicks copy? I dont get it!!!!!!!!! She is changing those characters tooo quick!! She had her own lane!!!!! She didnt need to do anyone elses schticks! And no one could do her schtick! She was in her own league! And she ****ed it all up cus ARTPOP didnt do so well. Dont get me wrong ARTPOP was a mess.( production wise and promotion wise) but it was 10000000000000x than this garbage of "im my dads daughter"

So my question is if she "Found herself" and this is the real her then isent it fair to say she isent who she was before and its ok to be disappointed and disapointed in her new work? If she's not that person I think its normal to feel although its time to move on.

Well, it is, since she said in every mother****ing interview she had from 2008 up to 2014 she was in charge of everything and that she was not a product, when in fact, she completely was.

I agree with your first statement, in fact, that's been something I've been saying for a while. While I don't think she was a complete product—she obviously took notes from people like Bowie early in her career who was huge, authentic inspiration—I do believe that as time has gone on, she's been more authentic and genuine with us. Each era and each album was representative of what she thought was the most important thing in her life, and what, at the time, she was most passionate about. Joanne is most authentic album to date, it's about Stefani, it's about her family, her stories, without a shadow of a doubt, it's her most genuine and personal album to date.

And, I think you misinterpreted my second quote, I was talking about the music videos. I was saying that having 3 music videos in the span of 3 years isn't a big revelation, it's literally as easy as looking at her VEVO channel. 

"It's up to us to abandon or follow her." I think that's actually a pretty profound and accurate quote. I agree with much of your former post, though I also do think she's an incredible activist/advocate and is just an inspiration for kindness, positivity, and peace. What I was trying to say with my former post—guess I didn't communicate that well enough—was that I've seen this kind of attitude amongst fans, the "I can't stand her anymore" or the "She's just gone. Gaga's over." attitude, and I feel like many of them want to jump ship, but don't/can't do it. 

It's not only toxic for them, but toxic for Gaga if she has a fan base with that kind of attitude.

First of all, ARTPOP is an extremely underrated pop album which is often judged because of it's commercial success. But, quality wise, is great in my humble opinion.

Secondly, and responding to your question, there's no character changing here. There's no character at all. It's her.

It would be fair, but can you imagine what would be the world's response if one day she blatantly say ' my whole career was built on big lies'? Well, she's TRYING to say all of this, but through her music, through Joanne. Through her performances and interviews, in which she talks about she misses having a real connection with a random person. That's why she feels so isolated. No one knows her. She's still attached to the Lady Gaga character. And the GP (and her fans too) are not responding to it. There's no love for Joanne, for Stefani.

Karma is real, isn't it? She fought so hard for Lady Gaga to be famous, she made it, and Lady Gaga the character is finishing her career. It won't leave her alone.

because they (all of us) have fallen in love with Lady Gaga the character. Not Joanne. They can't jump the ship probably because of nostalgia (though from now on, she'll have less and less fans every day) or because they still admire her (my case). I still admire her enormous talents. But i'm deeply hurt at the same time. 7 years of lies, it's no little issue. 

I'm still getting to know Joanne though. From what i've seen, she's not good at visuals, but she's strong at performances. And she sings directly from her heart.

Gagadaily, Little Monsters, her fans, we're all here because 2008-2014Ga. It's just the way it is. Back in time, she promised us we would never see her in shirts and jeans. And here we are.

Do i have a problem with jeans and shirts? No. The problem is that she promised something she was unable to fulfil. But those are details. In 2009, she told the world constantly that she was in charge of all her music videos, performances, outfits, etc etc etc. That was clearly a lie.

Do i have a problem with PI's music video? With Joanne's hat? NO! The problem is she lied. I never thought i'd say this, but i'm afraid she built her career at the expense of a great amount of lies.

I actually didn't realize how much I agreed with this. I don't care that she's injecting her face as well, but years ago she said plastic surgery was damaging. I also feel like TF,TFM,BTW, and ARTPOP fashion isn't her anymore, or was it ever? It's very confusing
